Ruperts Landing History
Rupert Bronsdon
Rupert was a kind, caring, brilliant man with a wonderful sense of humour who touched many people in his lifetime. He was a wonderful friend & husband. Founder of Tender Loving Care (TLC) nursery schools in Toronto, Collingwood and Florida.
Rupert was a visionary & entrepreneur and regarded as a remarkable award winning developer in Collingwood. Rupert's first development was a 207 unit condominium project known as Ruperts Landing. This development was a major success with sales completed within 18 months in 1987.
Rupert's next endeavor was a 576 unit condominium project known as Lighthouse Point Yacht and Tennis Club. With new knowledge and experience gained from Ruperts Landing, the developer's approach to Lighthouse was very unique.
It was Rupert's vision, dedication and dream to build a resort that would be loved by all and a home to many. He brought his vision to reality and remained loyal to the residents of Ruperts Landing and Lighthouse Point throughout his lifetime.
His legacy lives on.
